JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Estimator with a positive attitude to join our team. As an Auto Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage and providing accurate repair estimates. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, repair, and customer service will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the highest quality standards.

DUTIES:

• Inspect vehicles for damages and evaluate using visual inspection, mechanical testing devices, road tests and information provided by the customer
• Evaluate necessity and cost of repairs
• Collect insurance estimates after reviewing damage
• Meet with customers to discuss damages, repair process and timeline and costs
• Create accurate estimates that detail repair and labor costs
• Place work orders detailing part replacements and repairs and enter into work management system
• Maintain communication with customer and be available to answer questions throughout the repair process
• Keep record of repair details and complete necessary paperwork
• Effectively manage multiple repairs simultaneously
• Implement an effective quality check process by inspecting repaired vehicles and ensuring the repair is up to standard
• Complete final paperwork and payment with customer
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times and create ongoing relationships with customers

EXPERIENCE:

• 2 years experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, or service writing is required
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Experience in auto body repair is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and securely

ABILITIES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs
• Must have prior experience with CCC1 or similar estimating software
• You have an advance understanding and knowledge of the repair process/procedures
• Strong sales orientation
• Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
• Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company's insurance policy

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
