ProCare Therapy is Hiring a Speech Language Pathologist - Newark, NJ Near Newark, NJ
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to clients in individual or group settings.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with caregivers, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for clinical fellowship (CFY).
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in New Jersey.
- Previous experience working with individuals with communication and swallowing disorders preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
