Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a fulfilling opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students? ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated SLP to join our team in Stamford, CT. As a ProCare SLP, you'll have the opportunity to work in a supportive school environment while providing crucial speech and language services to students in need.
Position Overview:
As a School Speech-Language Pathologist with ProCare Therapy, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy services to students with communication disorders. You'll collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students, helping them reach their full potential academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Connecticut state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress
