About us
We are a small commercial/industrial general contractor located in Hayward, CA. Our service area is along the 880 corridor from Oakland to Fremont. We specialize in market ready/ tenant turn over work and our typical project timeline is six to eight weeks. We're looking to add at least one additional project manager to our team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and adherence to safety standards
- Communicate project updates and milestones to stakeholders
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
