Full time position: Schedule Monday - Friday around the core hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5pm. Plus limited work-related travel, planned in advance.

POSITION SUMMARY

Build and maintain business relationships with clients by providing prompt and accurate service. Be the first point of contact for customers for matters related to orders, logistics, documentation, quality, product questions, etc. Work cross-functionally within Probi to ensure best in-class customer support, with particular emphasis on ensuring orders are delivered on time and in full with all requisite documentation. Acquire in-depth knowledge of Probi products, manufacturing capabilities, and services. Manage and implement new systems to support Customer Service and Sales personnel. May have selected sales / customer account management responsibilities.

KEY JOB DUTIES

  • Own the customer service role for the Lafayette site and work collaboratively with the Redmond counterpart.
  • Deploy a customer-centric, service-first and partnership mindset, to all customer engagements.
  • Demonstrate agility, flexibility, and creativity in resolving customer issues, focusing on positive outcomes.
  • Be the 'spider in the web' representative for customers, engaging other functions as appropriate to satisfy customer requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Communicate and articulate at a high level and maintain a positive demeanor with customers and internal team members of the organization (i.e. sales, production, and quality departments).
  • Own the order-entry and management function and be accountable for the accurate fulfillment and delivery (OTIF) of orders.
  • Assist sales by recognizing potential opportunities with customers, asking questions, and providing additional information to advance the opportunity in the sales progression model.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Probi products and services to answer complex customer complaints and questions.
  • Learn new processes and confidently implement new systems.
  • Make suggestions about how to potentially improve processes and systems.
  • Assist marketing to execute tradeshows, customer surveys and other initiatives.
  • Assist with training and developing new employees.
  • Support sales managers as needed with reporting activities and customer information in CRM database (SalesForce).
  • Manage customer accounts directly as needed.
  • Develop and maintain job-relevant computer skills and take the initiative to continually improve and stay up to date on all skills pertinent to performance in this role.
  • Properly utilize personal administrative forms including timesheets, vacation requests, etc.
  • Follow company policies and guidelines as per the Company Employee Handbook.

COMPANY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to read, write, and converse in the English language.
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of conditions: noise repetitive motion, standing for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to recognize audible hazards.
  • Follow GMP, PPE, and company safety policies in performance of job duties.
  • Strong organizational, math and analytical skills
  • Maintain excellent attendance.
  • Perform other projects / duties as assigned.
  • Flexibility on hours as required.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUACTION REQUIREMENTS 

  • 2-year Associate degree or 4- year BS or BA College Degree.
  • Five or more years’ experience with Order Entry, Data Processing, and Customer Service or Sales.
  • Well, demonstrated computer literacy and outstanding MS Office software application skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Attention to detail.
