PRO Youth & Families is looking for someone passionate about youth work to join our team as a Program Coordinator!
In this role, you'll facilitate multiple evidence-based curriculums related to teen pregnancy prevention, substance use prevention, and mental health topics for youth ages 11-24 in the Greater Sacramento region. The Program Coordinator will also work closely with at-risk youth communities and foster a safe space for challenging group discussions, including sexual health, substance use risk and adverse effects, decision-making, and mental wellness challenges.
This is a hybrid position; the Program Coordinator will be required to spend at least 16 hours a week in our Sacramento office as well as a minimum of 8 hours per week to deliver the curriculum at sites across the greater Sacramento area.
Description: With limited supervision, the Program Coordinator leads and / or supports education, advocacy and mentoring programs with youth and program partner participants. This position is responsible for recruiting and/or retaining participants, the coordination and implementation of successful program components and creating positive community partnerships. Will collaborate with school site administration, community program coordinators, and other agency representatives on an going basis to engage and support program and participants. This person will be a high-energy, results-oriented, self-starting leader, capable of quickly taking control and assisting with needs. The essential function of this role and as required by our contract with our funders are: 1) full COVID vaccination or weekly testing as required and 2) DOJ and FBI background check.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
· Occasionally the employee will be required to perform work out of the office or at other facilities.
Location and Work Hours:
· Work is performed at the corporate offices at 3780 Rosin Court Ste. 120. Sacramento, Ca. 95834 or telecommuting, as necessary, and as approved by one’s supervisor.
· Work hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and place of work may change due to special situations; some weekends/evenings may be required.
Compensation:
· Competitive Salary ($23.25 - $26.25 hr based on education, skills and experience.)
