Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify and repair mechanical issues
- Use power tools and hand tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and service manuals for accurate repairs
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and advancements
Skills:
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques
- Experience working in a dealership or automotive service center is preferred
- Strong knowledge of powertrain systems, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain components
- Familiarity with using both power tools and hand tools for automotive repairs
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Knowledge of air brake systems is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
