Powder Coat Supervisor
Wage: Up to $25 per hour
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Powder Coat Supervisor to lead our team of powder coat operators. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that all finished products meet our high-quality standards. As a Powder Coat Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of powder coat operators, maintaining the equipment, and ensuring that the production schedule is met.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a team of powder coat operators to ensure the efficient production of high-quality finished products.
Train and motivate team members, and ensure that they understand and follow all safety and quality procedures.
Develop and maintain a production schedule to ensure timely delivery of finished products to customers.
Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired as necessary.
Manage inventory levels of materials and supplies needed for the powder coating process.
Troubleshoot production problems and implement solutions to keep the process running smoothly.
Maintain records of production data, such as time and materials used, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Ensure that all finished products meet our high-quality standards, and work with the quality control team to implement any necessary improvements.
Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in powder coating or a related field, with at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
Experience with managing teams, developing production schedules, and troubleshooting production problems.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for working with powder coating equipment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and train team members.
Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in all production records and data.
