- 1st Shift - 6am- 2pm
- Pay: $28/HR
- Direct Hire
Perform a variety of maintenance duties, including installation, repair and maintenance of production equipment and facility repair. Maintain and follow all safety regulations.
Essential Job Function
1. Check operation of machine mechanical and/or electrical problems.
2. Repair and maintain the facility’s machinery and mechanical equipment using various tools and equipment.
3. Document machine repair.
4. Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
5. Assist with the dismantling of defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, following specifications or blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand-tools.
6. Install machinery and equipment according to blueprints and other specifications
7. Waste Handling.
8. Follow all safety regulations, adhere by OSHA Standards.
9. Responsible for practicing good housekeeping standards.
10. Perform other essential duties as assigned.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
1. Technical/trade school graduate or equivalent, plus five years of hands on electrical, mechanical and repair experience.
2. Ability to perform in the areas of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic.
3. Proficient in the skill of metal working/welding.
4. Working knowledge of forklift operation with valid license.
5. Ability to read instructions, specifications or blueprints.
6. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
