Primary Responsibilities:
Experience level: 2 years; 3 years; 4 years
Work setting: In-person
Ability to commute/relocate: Charlotte, NC
Application Question(s): Mechanical Inspector Experience OR Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Conducts technical sort and/or rework as necessary for client requirements.
- Essentially an observe and report visit.
- Inspection duties include, but are not limited to visual (workmanship) evaluation, functional testing as applicable (measurements, assembly, etc.), packaging & labeling verification, etc.
- Provides timely, detailed reports and photographic evidence of product, packaging, labeling, defects noted, etc.
- BS in Mechanical, manufacturing and/or electrical engineering is preferred.
- Experience as a quality inspector, or applicable manufacturing experience in specified industries (CQE or other industry certifications a plus)
- Ability to prepare and submit polished electronic reports in a timely manner, including digital photos.
- Ability to maintain a positive, professional disposition when adapting to occasional disruptions and unexpected events.
