Private physical therapy clinic seeking a full-time, Front Desk/Scheduling Coordinator to join our awesome team on-site in our Winchester, VA practice. The position of Front Desk/Scheduling Coordinator supports clinical staff and patients in scheduling, chart preparation, collections, and is a liaison to the referring physicians. Dual Position Duties: 

• Insurance verification prior to initial evaluation 
• Check patient demographics in electronic record for accuracy.
• Scanning important attachments to patient cases
• Scheduling (new and current patients
• Greeting and helping patients at the desk 
• Triaging new referrals and making initial contact.
• Maintaining of new patient call list and cancel list.
• Answering phones and managing calls as needed 
• Managing Missing in Action (MIA)-patients who have not completed their plan of care but are not scheduled. 
• Correspondence with referring physicians.
• New patient check-in
• Scanning and attachment of documentation
• Collect copays and coinsurances. 
• Answering any questions regarding patient balance
