About the Job:

• position requires an engineer with significant experience in the environmental and industry.
• ideal candidate will possess superior problem solving and management skills that will be applied to a diverse portfolio of technical projects.
• will be directly responsible for engineering and construction at solid waste disposal facilities, will communicate with senior management, and direct and mentor junior staff.
• will be providing comprehensive services to a variety of clients.
• will have oversite of 2 landfills located in King George, VA and Saluda, VA.

Required

• Degree (accredited) in Engineering
• years of related experience
• Driver’s License
• in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• to travel up to 50% of the time, including travel to remote locations.
• knowledge of environmental regulations, including solid waste, air, storm water and wastewater.
• depth knowledge of landfill design and permitting.
• knowledge of safety regulations
• of accounting processes and P&L statements.
