As the Operation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our company by managing and optimizing field operations. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including sales, fleet management, repair shop, vendors, and clients, to ensure the efficient delivery of our services and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction. This position reports directly to the President of the company.
Field Operations Management:
- Supervise and lead field team foreman (5 to 6 direct reports) and all field crewmembers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality to meet or exceed client expectations.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency.
Collaboration with Sales:
- Work closely with the sales team to understand project requirements and client expectations.
- Provide input on project feasibility, timelines, and resource allocation.
Vendor Relations:
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Client Communication:
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and compliance regarding industry and government (OSHA) regulations
- Conduct and coordinate regular safety training for field teams.
- Ensure proper job and employee documentation including material tracking, daily reports timesheets and truck logs are maintained and kept up to date
Budget and Cost Management:
- Assist in the development and management of departmental budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to control expenses.
