Pro Ad Co, Inc is Hiring a Graphic Artist Near Portland, OR

The basics,

Work independently on multiple projects efficiently and accurately to exceed the expectations of our clients. Manage proofs and projects to meet the required dates for each order. Receive provided graphics, save file so that they can be recalled as needed. Prepare the graphics for printing using various Adobe software. Work with sales staff and clients to get approval of graphic prior to creating a press sheet layout. Prepare press sheet layout for film following established procedures and have film generated. Update production copies as required during proofing process. Maintain email, proof approvals, graphic files, and films according to established protocol. As need perform maintenance and updates to company website. Anticipate potential problems and work with other team members for possible solutions.

Skills Required

  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photo Shop, InDesign, Dream Weaver, Acrobat, Express, and Muse
  • Well versed in google email, document transfers and the use of FTP
  • Possess solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Detailed and organized, complete projects accurately and efficiently
  • Must be capable of following direction written and verbal.
  • Professional with Clients and other team members
  • Familiar with Microsoft office

Experience

  • Pre-press for screen printing and large format digital printers
  • Successfully managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Flourished in a highly detailed environment
  • Confidently communicating with clients
  • Color separations, selecting color swatches from files and assigning Pantone colors.
  • Converting digital graphics from various formats to eps files
  • Thrived working in a team setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
