Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects by accurately estimating costs and providing valuable insights for project planning and management. Duties:
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Utilize software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to assist in the estimation process
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budget
- Provide support in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs without compromising quality
- Participate in bid meetings and presentations
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
- Proficiency in cost control and budget management
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Familiarity with construction management processes
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Proficient in using software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for estimating purposes
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Pay: $74,380.00 - $79,725.00 per year
