Job Summary:
Priority First FCU is seeking an IT Specialist to join our growing team. The IT Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization's information technology systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work well in a team environment. The IT Specialist will effectively manage multiple tasks based on priority and business impact and maintain documentation of activities.
Duties:
- Provide desktop support to end-users, including hardware and software troubleshooting
- Develop and update the organization's security plan.
- Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and optimize equipment such as desktops, laptop systems, hardware peripherals, and software applications.
- Support and maintain IT infrastructure, including firewalls and network security
- Install, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware and software.
- Develop plans to safeguard computer files
-Monitor reports of computer viruses, security files, and software patches to determine when updates are needed.
-Ability to complete risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
-Facilitate projects such as set-ups, relocations, router upgrades, pc upgrades.
- Troubleshoot ATM equipment failures by collaborating with internal team members and vendors to provide a quick and efficient resolutions.
Experience:
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
- Familiarity with firewall configuration and network security protocols
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
