Job Title: Application Engineer

Duration: 07 Months (Contract to Hire)

Location: Peachtree Dunwoody Rd, Atlanta, GA 30328 (Hybrid)

Description:

This role is multi-faceted, supporting multiple SaaS applications utilized by IT and Finance teams. It requires a deep understanding of Agile Information Technology organizations, and a strong data-oriented mindset. It will involve enabling our Technology Business Management framework and practice by identifying, procuring, and integrating diverse IT-related data sets, leveraging the ApptioOne platform. It will also involve realizing end-to-end integrations with our enterprise agile planning and work management tool, Apptio Targetprocess, and other IT tools, as well as tool configurations and customizations to support the needs of ever changing and maturing Agile teams.

Required working knowledge and hands-on experience with:

• Holistic data integration solutions including ingestion, cleansing, transformation, loading, testing & quality assurance
• Realizing SaaS web application mashups & integrations from conception & design to testing & implementation and on-going support
• Proficiency with REST APIs & Webhooks, Javascript & JSON, XML, HTML/CSS
• Agile development practices, including Scrum and/or Kanban, managing work in an Enterprise Agile Planning tool
• Optimizing and automating workflows and business processes
• Effective communication & collaboration using Microsoft Teams
• Strong self-management, problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical, excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

top 3-5 MUST HAVEs OR REQUIRED skillset: Data Integration, APIs/Webhooks, Javascript/JSON, Application Administration

Strongly preferred:

• Prior experience working with Apptio Products ApptioOne, Targetprocess, Cloudability
• Experience in the development, maintenance, and administration of Technology Business Management applications
• SaaS application administration & configuration; particularly with an agile tool such as Targetprocess, Jira/Jira Align, Rally, Digital.ai (VersionOne)
• Familiarity with Cloud / FinOps practices
• Microsoft Power Platform including Power Automate & Power BI, power query M & DAX
• Advanced or Expert Microsoft Excel including pivots, functions, importing & manipulating data
