Primoris Services Corporation is Hiring a Preconstruction Manager Near Denver, CO

Roles & Responsibilities

· Oversees the daily construction activities in the field. Serving as a liaison between construction and project management.

· Provides direction and participates in project planning, scheduling, and establishing critical project objectives.

· Manages project scope, ensuring that internal Change Management processes are followed.

· Responsible for the coordination with Procurement and Project Management to ensure that all necessary materials are received according to project schedule and workplan.

· Provides onsite Quality Control and Quality Assurance, ensuring that both the company and client’s quality objectives are met.

· Responsible for all field reporting, including material paperwork and status reports, daily field reports, quality reporting, plan of the day, safety reports, status reports, etc.

· Work directly with client Field Management to ensure project objectives are being met and any information is being passed to field and project management.

· Oversight of any subcontractors/vendors in the field. Ensuring that contract deliverables, quality expectations and safety requirements are met.

· Ensure that all project permits are obtained, participating in the permitting process.

· Work with engineering to implement design changes in the field and completion of as builts.

· Maintain a safe construction work site, adhering to all safety requirements from client, company, and government.

· Work directly with Project Management to ensure successful project completion, on time and within budget.

· Ensure crews have all necessary equipment, material, and PPE to complete work.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Science and/or equivalent construction field experience in the Electrical Utility Industry.

· Experience in on site management of substation, transmission, and/or distribution projects.

· Experience in estimating, subcontracting, and scheduling EPC projects.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

· Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.

· Ability to prioritize large amounts of work, while maintaining a safe, quality driven work environment.

· Must be willing to travel up to 100% of the time.
