Primis Bank Opportunities is Hiring a Chief Financial Officer - Panacea Financial Near Little Rock, AR
Position Summary: This position is responsible for directing the finance, treasury, and accounting activities of Panacea Financial. This position makes recommendations relating to budget preparation, profit forecasts and operational changes as needed.
Primary Duties
Oversee the financial functions of Panacea Financial.
Present monthly reports to senior management.
Develop and implement financial institution fiscal plans and policies.
Monitor Panacea Financial’s liquidity and cash needs on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Serve on Asset and Liability Management Committee.
Provide direction for strategic planning and analysis.
Oversee Panacea Financial’s internal control program, which includes regular audit procedures and internal control activities.
Assist with Investor Relations.
Maintain compliance with and adhere to all state and federal regulations and bank policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, FACT ACT, Community Reinvestment Act, and EEO/AA/Fair Employment Practices.
Perform other such duties as assigned.
Minimum Educational & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or related field and/or equivalent experience
Minimum of ten years’ experience in a senior financial position with extensive administrative experience in financial institutions
Minimum Skill Requirements
Extensive background in financial institution accounting and auditing, operations and policies and procedures related to procurement
High-level analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent computer skills relevant to Microsoft Office Suites (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
Physical Demands
In terms of an 8-hour workday, “occasional” equals 1% to 33%, “frequent” equals 34% to 66% and “continuous” equals 67% to 100%. However, some duties are performed monthly, annually or sporadically throughout the year and are essential functions.
