Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field and 6 years of financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience.
Overview:
The position reports to the CFO for the Primetals Technologies USA LLC and serves as a management member of the finance team. As a manager for the US operations, this position will have a direct impact on the overall business strategy and will be expected to work closely with the Chief Financial Officer. Located in Alpharetta, GA, the position will collaborate with the leadership of the business on monthly financial results reporting, financial analysis, and coordinating and leading our quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process, as well as have limited monthly accounting close responsibilities.
Responsibilities Include:
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and the ability to apply advanced financial reporting concepts, and procedures. He/she should be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of management approaches for work direction, motivation, and performance management. In this role, the individual will take a lead role in partnering with the business leadership to drive the business unit’s financial performance against complex goals and objectives. Within the finance area, leads protection of company assets, application of most complex control procedures, and financial planning and reporting with in stated guidelines and policies. Leads active risk management within subject area. Drives organizational alignment with strategy. Applies advanced analytical techniques which are necessary to gain greater insight and perspective on problems. Makes recommendations based on advanced root cause and alternative solution analysis.
Additional Responsibilities include:

• Manage the quarterly forecasting process, with central cost center managers, segment controllers and Sr. management.
• Develop trusted business partnerships with senior Finance leaders through deep understanding of their business and proactive financial management.
• Drive the annual budgeting process, with central cost center managers, segment controllers and upper management.
• Coordinating with segment controllers to collect quantitative and qualitative results and analysis.
• Direct the reporting of financial results through local and global reporting tools.
• Month end reconciliation between SAP and Hyperion tools.
• Provide detailed analysis to upper management regarding monthly and quarterly results against forecast and budget.
• Ensure central cost center assessments in SAP are maintained.
• Drives improvement of financial processes for the US operation through proactively identifying key projects that contribute to decisions by the CFO.
• Audit support as required.
• Be a cultural champion for inclusion, growth mindset, and establish norms that support the business culture.
• Currently, the position will supervise 1-2 employees.

Required Knowledge/skills, Education and Experience:
5 years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
Independently performs leading-edge areas of work for the professional field. Preempts potential problems and provides effective solutions in reaction to application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes. Displays original thinking in applying principles, theories, and concepts on a wide range of problems.
Demonstrates extensive knowledge in field of specialization to the successful completion of complex assignments. Successfully serves as point of authority and/or source of technical knowledge for area of expertise. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues.
