Garsite and Progress LLC is a producer of refueling and vacuum equipment that requires…. Our Kansas City, KS location is represented by the United Auto Workers Union.
o Install major fuel system components and product tank to include pumps, hoses, reels and proper bolts and attachments.
o Install electrical and control components in accordance with provided blueprints.
o Fabricate minor brackets and supports according to drawings.
o Capable of reading engineering drawings, GA prints, Scully prints to complete the build.
o Maintain and produce assigned vehicles within build hours.
o Track, maintain and complete board entries at the beginning and end of shift.
o Proficient in reading engineering drawings and Bills of Material
o Capable of building a complete unit with little or no direction.
o Strong understanding and proficiency of all functional systems to include dry testing.
o Capable of installing Power Take Offs (PTOs) and checking back lash.
o Expertise in performance testing of a completed unit and troubleshooting all functional systems for potential problems.
o Follows the Garsite Employee Handbook, UAW Contract, safety rules and shop rules.
Good communication skills, ability to accurately follow directions, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. The employee must exhibit safe work habits and maintain compliance with all corporate and/or plant policies, rules, procedures, and regulations.
