Job Nature:
Apos Product Specialist is responsible for assisting Apos Physical Therapists in providing innovative clinical care at home with a 5-star customer service experience. Apos Product Specialist will be guided clinically by Apos Physical Therapist and will be responsible for patient experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Managing the inventory necessary for patients’ home visits.
· Communicating with clinical staff regarding patient care.
· Commuting to homes of scheduled patients.
· Communicating with patients over the phone/text/email.
· Setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining all equipment, including video systems before and during at home patient care.
· Providing outstanding customer service.
· Physically assisting patients with their APOS device (putting shoe on and off).
· Record keeping, including expenses.
· Supporting remote clinical staff with hand on patient care.
· Have functional knowledge of the day’s schedule as well as thorough inventory of the supplies and equipment required for the day’s treatment.
Required skills and abilities.
· Travel locally across NYC
· Knowledge of a second language is a plus
· Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
· Demonstrate empathy and compassion when communicating with patients.
· Provide technical support.
· Maintain professional demeanor towards patients, visitors, and families.
· Follow clinical directions administered remotely.
· Manage inventory.
· Navigate patient’s and therapist’s schedule.
· Excellent communication and organizational skill.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
General Requirements:
