Duties:

• Offering physical and emotional support to patients under your care
• Assisting patients with regular daily tasks such as dressing, feeding, grooming, and mobility
• Checking vital signs and recording patient health status in their charts
• Liaising with nursing staff regarding patient conditions and care procedures
• Ensuring patients are comfortable and providing a positive, empathetic environment for their recovery
• Setting up medical equipment and assisting with some medical procedures
• Changing bed sheets and keeping rooms tidy

Qualifications:

• A proven track record of ethical, respectful, and compassionate patient care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Physical stamina to work long shifts and help move patients if required
• CPR and BLS certification preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and occasional weekends
• High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
• 18 years of age or older
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
