We are searching for an experienced Receptionist to join our team. The candidate should be presentable, professional and organized.
SPANISH SPEAKING A Must
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our electronic scheduling system
- Verify insurance coverage and collect patient information
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Maintain patient records and update as necessary
- Manage patient flow and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process
- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient operations of the front desk
Experience:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using ER systems or similar electronic medical records software is required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
