We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for select clients, playing a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong client relationships. Your responsibilities will include quoting spot business with clients and ensuring that all shipments are executed on according to our internal processes including scheduling, coordinating coverage, and customer problem solving as needed on a daily basis. You will be responsible for promptly following up on quotes within 15 minutes of receiving them and addressing any issue resolution needs. Multi-tasking is imperative and commission upside is unlimited to those who can effectively handle larger volumes of shipments!

As a Business Development Executive, you will serve as the primary liaison with carrier representatives, fostering effective communication and collaboration. Additionally, you will work closely with the accounting team to resolve invoicing and accounts receivable issues. Weekly relationship-building calls with key points of contact for both spot and contract clients are essential, ensuring our clients receive top-notch service.

You will update a shared drive sheet containing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all accounts, responding to tenders within 15 minutes or less, and building loads with accurate information. End-of-day audits for loads with outstanding appointments and revenue will be part of your daily routine. You will also be responsible for portal updates, scheduling appointments and confirmations, acknowledging customer inquiries promptly, and managing the Relay lumper process and Proof of Delivery (POD) collections.
