Schedule: 5x10s Monday – Friday 7am-5pm – Will flip to 12 Hour Rotating Modified DuPont Schedule When Plant is Commissioned

This role is stationed on a brand new renewable energy plant being built in the Linden area by an expanding owner operator with plans to build more sites throughout the state and the U.S. The plant will utilize Allen Bradley controls to perform startups, shutdowns, monitor plant conditions, and direct Field Operators as needed. This position will support commissioning on a days Monday – Friday shift initially then move to a 12 hour rotating modified DuPont schedule. Job Description:

• Familiarize with processes and systems in relation to shift responsibilities, including major dynamic site issues such as TOC, grid outages, HV works, etc.
• Montor all plant equipment from the control room. Respond to upset conditions, stop and start equipment as needed.
• Perform full plant startups and shutdowns as needed on a 24/7/365 industrial facility.
• Utilize Allen Bradley PLCs to control individual pieces of equipment.
• Assist the O&M and Plant Managers with training of new Control Room Operators and their integration into the control room when on shift
• Seeks to optimize processing though facility and maintain proper product specifications, responds to alarms and problems within the plant and make the appropriate corrections.
• Will also perform lockout/tagout procedures and may monitor field status through the use of SCADA.
• Decision maker during communications with to ensure compliance with all state local and federal regulatory requirements.
• Identify issues with existing procedures/methods associated with the operational activity to ensure best practice is maintained across the site.
• Perform fault logging to ensure contractual availability and fault trends can be accurately assessed
• Perform the real time updating of the energy IT systems
• Perform day-to-day data population, maintenance and integrity checks
• Compliance with all Health and Safety (H&S) and Quality legislation, company and any specific site requirements by the teams and reporting of any incidents to the PM updating and maintaining relevant systems
• Ensure system information is accurate to avoid excessive re-writing during the team audit process
• Complete data entries by the end of shift and that all relevant information is communicated at handover
• Build and maintain knowledge of renewable data management and performance assessment technologies
