Director of Technical Accounting

As the Director of Technical Accounting, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to IFRS accounting standards. Additionally, you'll perform monthly analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, cash flows, and intangible assets.

Your typical day will involve:

• Assisting in quarterly and annual intangible impairment review/testing procedures.
• Maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley Act processes for FRA Operations global controls.
• Supporting various monthly/quarterly reporting activities for FRA Operations.
• Acting as a Single Point of Contact/Subject Matter Expert for identified functions and regions.
• Ensuring accounting compliance with IFRS and US GAAP by monitoring developments and setting accounting policies.
• Providing technical accounting support for complex matters and preparing/reviewing appropriate accounting documentation.
• Assisting the M&A team with accounting implications for potential acquisitions.
• Analyzing balance sheets, cash flows, and other financial elements and driving process improvements.

Your qualifications:

• 7 -10 years of relevant experience
• Degree in Accounting/Finance and CPA/Chartered Accountant certification
• Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS (GAAP) and strong analytical skills
• Experience in financial accounting/reporting, auditing, and financial process engineering
• Proficiency in ERP (SAP) and Microsoft Office
