Looking for a Medical assistant / Front desk staff for our primary care office .
We are a primary care practice (general doctor's office) with aim of providing excellent patient care . Traditional family practice offices are busier practices with long waiting time and less patient care time . We are looking to build a practice that is patient centered with aim of providing efficient evidence based care . We are looking to build a team that can help us achieve that . A team where we all share the responsibilities of caring for the patients. Every team member will have a specific role within the
care of each patient which allows our healthcare team provide care to a greater number of patients and
provide higher quality care at the same time.
Prior work experience is required.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Patient registration

. Checking insurance coverage for patient prior to arrival .

• Record a patient's medical history accurately
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Collect samples for lab testingREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)
• ECW experience/ EMR experience
• Medical Billing experience
• Fluent both in spoken and written English
• Spanish speaking will be a plus but not required .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
