E-Commerce Distribution Center seeks, Local candidates only, Must be 21 years old to apply, Background check & drug screen required
Primary Arms is seeking highly motivated and dependable individuals fill warehouse positions in the Inbound, Inventory Control and Outbound (Pick, Pack and Ship) departments. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, is team oriented, the ability to work mandatory weekends and holidays when needed and a commitment to customer service as it relates to distribution. This is a full-time position with daytime and some evening hours. Non-standard work shifts (such as weekends and extended workdays) are required.
Positions available in DC Warehouse (Available positions may vary and are assigned based on operational needs during orientation): Receiving, Inventory Control and Outbound (Pick, Pack and Ship)
Employee Shifts (Available shifts are dependent on operational need and are assigned based on operations at time during orientation):
The shifts and shift assignments are subject to change at management’s discretion.
Duties and Responsibilities of Distribution Center Associates
· Picking: Locating and gathering items from shelves to fulfill customer orders using RF scan gun (Requires ability to climb ladders)
· Packing: Confirming merchandise matches orders, properly packaging materials, and printing labels to prepare for shipping
· Shipping: Sorts and transports packages from conveyance to mail carrier transports
· Inventory Control: Down stocking (Operates equipment to access top stock), inventory search (trouble station), inventory replenishment, inventory counts
· Receiving: Receives inbound inventory, determines accuracy of shipments received versus purchase order and reconciles, ensured boxes are labeled properly, ensures back stock pallets are put away, locates inventory to prepare for inventory control and replenishment based on operational needs
· Other Duties, including but not limited to:
· Empty trash bins and assist in maintenance and cleanup of Distribution Center
· Complies with company policies, procedures and standards
· Notifies management of unsafe working condition, damaged products, etc.
· Some positions may require training on forklift or manlift equipment
· Other duties as assigned
Competencies, Skills, Attributes and Qualifications for Success
· Must speak, read and write English well enough to understand safety guidelines and technical information
· Computer Skills: Microsoft Excel, WMS, RF Scanner Technology (Preferred)
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Team Player
· Ability to process orders quickly and efficiently
· Previous warehouse experience is a plus
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· High school diploma or GED
· Priority given to Veterans
Physical Requirements:
· Routinely: Climb ladders (All positions)
· Occasionally: Sit (None in pick/pack/ship), lift and carry up to 60lbs (Single person lift (Inventory Control and Receiving))
· Frequent: walking, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, kneeling, stretching and repetitive arm motion
