We are looking to add a Screw Machine Operator to lock manufacturing company in Bristol, CT! This is a Direct-Hire role.
Pay: $35/hr
Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday to Friday
Summary:
Screw machine operators will produce precision machined components
applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, layouts, control plans and machining procedures.
Job Functions:
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
- Read screw machine blueprint specifications.
- Set up, adjust, and use all the basic machine tools
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a machine shop environment
- Set up and operation screw machines
- Experience reading blueprints
- Previous Screw or CAM machining experience
