Press Brake Operator

Duties:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications
- Select and install appropriate tooling for each job
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions, tolerances, and sequence of operations
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and angles
- Inspect finished parts using calipers and other measuring tools for quality assurance
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve desired results
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow

Skills:
- Proficient in operating press brake machines and related equipment
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with CNC machining processes is a plus
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Knowledge of tooling selection and setup for different bending operations
- Ability to assemble, disassemble, and maintain press brake equipment
- Familiarity with crane operation for material handling
