Position Summary

The Social Content Coordinator is a member of our Digital Communications team working directly with our Digital Communications Director. Together, they are responsible for creating visual concepts both internally and externally to develop successful social media campaigns and are responsible for all photography content. Their duties include servicing the team to create visual and verbal content for various platforms through photography, videography, and different written requirements.

Successful candidates will need to handle multiple projects simultaneously with varying levels of complexity inside an extremely busy, high-output department, to ensure that creative projects are developed and delivered on-schedule and on-budget. They will be responsible for not only meeting our clients’ expectations but exceeding them. Candidates must also possess strong knowledge and applied skills of photojournalism and studio style photography.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging text, image and video content for social platforms
  • Attend events and produce live social media content
  • Research audience preferences and discover current trends
  • Maintain unified brand voice across all platforms
  • Stay up to date in changes on all social platforms to ensure maximum utilization
  • Collaborate with web team to showcase company products and services to its fullest, including photographing inventory or showcasing events as needed
  • Assist in developing results-driven campaign strategies, creating graphics, concept brainstorming, and providing input to creative process
  • Attend and photograph events, editing content for distribution
  • Photograph, edit and curate postings to our website and social media outlets and collaborate with other photographers and staff to cull content as needed
  • Create content schedules and post to social media to highlight company events and activities

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in visual arts (photography), marketing or equivalent work experience in the industry
  • Excellent eye for capturing content, substantiated by a diverse portfolio where applicable
  • Understanding and proficient skill set in photojournalism and studio-style photography
  • Understanding of video production for social platforms
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop or Lightroom, Canva or relevant design platforms
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in web-based and social media platforms
  • Experience with social media amplification/paid programs, automated posting tools, and analytics dashboards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Creative thinker with proactive problem-solving skills and high attention to detail with ability to think on your feet and pivot as needed
  • Works well in a collaborative environment
  • Energetic with a positive, service mentality; able to succeed in a fast-paced, multi-faceted organization while balancing multiple projects and deliverables
  • Impeccable time-management skills
  • Must be able to work 8:30 to 5:30 M-F, nights and weekends as required for projects and schedules assigned
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Salary depends on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
