The Security Guard will be primarily responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors by patrolling and monitoring the premises and personnel to ensure a safe and clean environment for everyone.

Interrelationship: Will be interacting with all staff and visitors to the site. Will be communication and enforcing Safety protocols and policies, identifying, and reporting risks to program director.

• Secure the premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting the building, equipment, and access points.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Controls traffic by directing drivers in and out of the premises.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
• Ensure that the entire premise is always kept clean.
• Ensure that offices are locked, and premises is secure by end of shift.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Call police or fire departments in case of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrence.
• Maintain organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Good written and verbal communication and ability to follow instructions.
• Knowledge of Security Operations and Procedure
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing and safety management.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
• Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
• Excellent judgement and objective skills.
• Ability to remain calm and exercise emotional control.
• Possesses high integrity and ethical behavior.
