Prestige Staffing Services is Hiring a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift Near Elkhart, IN
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensure the steady and efficient flow of production through the manufacturing areas with respect to the provided production schedule and on-time delivery standards.
- Supervise, teach, coach, and train all production personnel in the machining cells. Will be required to participate in performance evaluations, the onboarding process, and disciplinary situations.
- Identify and troubleshoot downtime issues as they arise to minimize downtime or other inefficiencies.
- Consult and collaborate with key players in other areas of the business to ensure the successful manufacturing of product demand.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure operator performance and production factors.
- Supervise, train, and ensure compliance of the quality management system (QMS) by all operators, coordinating guidance on quality-related matters.
- Conduct training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Implement measures to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
- Proficient communication in English through written and verbal methods.
- Ability to read, interpret, and train on use of micrometers, calipers, gauges, and dials.
- Mechanically and technically inclined.
- Proven experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in CNC machining.
- Familiarity with production scheduling and planning.
- Proficiency with computers, software, and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of ERP systems is helpful.
