Pressco Technology is Hiring an OPERATIONS DIRECTOR Near Solon, OH
Responsibilities
- Direct the activities of all functions involved in the procurement, planning, production, supplier quality and warehousing
- Ensure that all processes, from order fulfillment to delivery, are executed efficiently and in accordance with established standards
- Define annual objectives to drive performance to achieve corporate targets
- Set-up production & operations KPIs, analyze performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization
- Set-up SOP meetings & decision processes, driving capacity planning, MRP and communication with business lines and Sales Regions
- Develop and implement strategies for effective inventory management, including demand forecasting, stock levels, and order replenishment
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to address order-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Apply and develop SC strategy, manage industrial footprint, deploy appropriate industrial model according to make or buy analysis
- Provide leadership and direction for the day-to-day execution of supply chain operations
- Coach and develop the teams, developing competencies and improving performance
- Support Lean management and continuous improvement implementation; implement best practices
- Participate in the implementation of the new ERP
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Business Administration
- 15 years of Operations experience with 10 years of Managerial experience
- Functional expertise in end-to-end supply chain, logistics, imports/exports, and operations
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
- Result oriented (driving to deadlines, financial targets, project goals, etc.)
- Understanding of Lean-Sigma principles
