Location: Remote
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000

You can learn more at https://presidiofederal.com/. The Role: Presidio Federal is seeking a seasoned professional for the role of FedCiv Senior Account Manager, based in Reston, VA. This individual will lead efforts in acquiring new accounts, achieving sales targets, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction within the federal sector. Key responsibilities include anticipating customer needs, responding to inquiries, crafting proposals, and tailoring solutions to meet client requirements. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Exceed annual sales revenue and margin targets set by management.
• Drive revenue growth and profitability within the Federal Business sector.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to address customer needs, offering hardware, software, and professional services solutions.
• Utilize various marketing and sales techniques, including cold calling, face-to-face meetings, online discussions, and collaboration with vendors.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships to understand their business needs, buying cycles, and drive sales growth.
• Adhere to the sales process, including pipeline development and accurate forecasting.
• Assist in writing proposals and provide solution information to clients.
• Manage individual sales objectives, including order processing and billing activities.
• Maintain customer account information and address satisfaction issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate project scoping and timely quoting.
• Resolve past due invoice issues with accounting.
• Foster relationships with decision-makers and influencers at target accounts.
• Understand each target customer’s business model and technology needs.
• Provide feedback, develop vendor relationships, and mentor new employees.
• Participate in account planning sessions with strategic partners.
• Present Quarterly Business Reviews to Sales Management.
• Identify new sales opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to pursue them.
• Develop partnerships with OEMs/ISVs and other relevant entities in the Federal Business sector. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, military experience is a plus.
• Five or more years of outside U.S. Federal technology sales experience with a strong existing network in the local market.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals within the first 180 days of employment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Ability to articulate value proposition and unique differentiators.
• Proven track record in developing client and vendor relationships.
• Experience selling advanced technology solutions from key partners such as Cisco, IBM, AWS, Palo Alto, DELL, NetApp, Red Hat, HPE, or others.
• Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance is advantageous.
• Experience selling to and relationships in Federal Civilian (HHS, Veterans Affairs, Education, SSA, State, and OPM/OCC).
