General Purpose of Job: To support the General Manager in carrying out the responsibilities of Accounting. This position is responsible for A/P invoice processing, invoice payments, service billings, cash receipts posting, sales tax reporting, inventory tracking, etc. This role will be challenged to seek, propose, and drive process improvements across its areas of responsibility.

Essential Functions

· Understand the overall structure of the entities and businesses,

· Learn and understand systems (Molo & Xero)

· Transaction tracing to bank accounts

· A/P - Coding invoices (physical copies & digital copies), scanning and uploading physical invoices, check cutting or making payments

· A/R - General verification of receivables and delinquencies

· Assistance with sales & use tax reporting

· General cash management

· Journal entries and accrual accounting

· overall process evaluation and revision for simplification

Minimum Job Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
• Timely response to common internal and external inquiries
• Write effective and concise emails, presentations, policies, and procedures
• Present information to business partners, vendors, and senior management
• Possess highly technical or advanced Excel skills used in data analysis, financial reporting, journal entry preparation, and project reporting
• Manage time and priorities effectively

Minimum Education

• Associate’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Accounting

Minimum Experience

• At least two years of increasingly responsible accounting experience
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and formulas
• Proficient in the principles and practices of accounting

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
