Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina (PCSC) is a not-for-profit faith based organization that owns and operates six life plan communities across the state and has been in business for over 60 years. Currently, Laurel Crest Retirement Community has a wonderful opportunity for Medical Technicians (Med-Techs).

We have a need for the Full-time and part-time positions on 3p-11p shift in our Memory Support Area. $1000 Sign On Bonus offered for the Full-time position. 

Med Tech duties include but not limited to:

• Timely administration of medications and ensuring that care and services are provided to residents in a safe and secure manner.
• Providing resident care including patient’s physical, nutritional, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psycho-social, and educational needs.
• Following the residents care plan or service plan as an instruction guide for how to take care of that resident.

Requirements

 Minimal Requirements

• Successful completion of Medication Aide course
• 2 years of prior experience as a Med Tech in a long term care or assisted living setting
