Description

Tooling Coordinator: 1st shift, Monday - Thursday (7am - 5pm)

• Maintain plate and tooling staging areas 
• Check in inbound tooling against specifications and assign a location
• Identify tooling as prepress ready or out of service
• Coordinate disposition or removal of obsolete tooling
• Communicate with Design, Customer Service, Production and vendors as to the status of tooling
• Maintain the cutting die and print plate logbooks and/or spreadsheets
• Maintain assorted files in the form of hard copies and computer database
• Prepare paperwork and send out damaged tooling to vendors for repair
• Notify Supervisor and Design of unacceptable tooling and discrepancies
• Read a tape measure, write clearly and perform basic math
• Possess a working knowledge of standard polymers, Mylar backings, screens, line types and applicable allowances
• Possess a working knowledge of common corrugated properties preferred

What you Need:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. alone and 50 lbs. assisted
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Experience in Manufacturing preferred
