Seeking Mary Poppins: Full-Time Super Nanny Position in Pacific Heights

Calling all career nannies! Are you passionate about childcare and ready to make a meaningful impact? An extraordinary family residing in Pacific Heights is in search of their Super Nanny, ready to commit approximately 50 hours per week. They are looking for a dedicated individual that will embody the spirit of Mary Poppins, blending warmth, energy, and creativity with exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to child development. This is a DREAM JOB, with an incredible family with two wonderful children aged 6-months and 3-years-old. This family is seeking someone to become an integral part of their household for years to come!

LOCATION: Pacific Heights, San Francisco, CA

SCHEDULE: 50-55 hours per week: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 6:15pm

COMPENSATION: $50/hr plus benefits

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 15 years of professional nanny experience, with a background in education or child development preferred.
  • Demonstrate the ability to engage with children in a playful and imaginative manner, fostering creativity, exploration, and curiosity.
  • High emotional intelligence and a patient, nurturing demeanor, with a knack for understanding and responding to children's needs and emotions.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to maintain open and transparent communication with the parents and family.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage schedules, track important information, and maintain a structured environment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with the willingness to transport children to and from preschool and other activities.
  • Must be Trustline Certified.
  • Pet-friendly attitude, with comfort towards the family dog.
  • Ability to travel up to 6 weeks per year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide reliable and attentive care for two children.
  • Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment through play-based interactions and educational activities tailored to each child's developmental stage and interests.
  • Maintain a structured daily schedule, including coordinating nap times, preschool drop-offs, and outings to museums and other enriching locations.
  • Prioritize the children's health and well-being by promoting active outdoor play, preparing nutritious meals, and adhering to the family's no-screen-time policy.
  • Collaborate with the parents to ensure seamless communication and alignment on the children's needs, routines, and developmental milestones.
  • Support the family during travel and varied hours, while maintaining flexibility and adaptability. Private accommodations will be included.
  • Maintain a clean and organized playroom and living space, demonstrating a proactive approach to household tasks and responsibilities.
  • Serve as a positive role model and mentor for the children, fostering independence, curiosity, and emotional intelligence.

  • $50/HR up to 40 hours a week, plus overtime pay at $75/hr for additional hours
