Premier Management Group is Hiring a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Near Warwick, RI
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant to join our team. As a CPA, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic financial guidance to clients. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation. Duties: - Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial records - Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements - Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement - Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes - Provide tax planning and compliance services - Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for achieving financial goals - Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices - Utilize accounting software such as PeopleSoft to maintain financial records - Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements Skills: - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping - Ability to interpret financial reports and provide meaningful insights - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Experience with general ledger reconciliation - Familiarity with accounting software such as PeopleSoft - Knowledge of private equity transactions and related accounting principles - Understanding of budgeting processes and forecasting techniques - Familiarity with wills, trusts, and estate law is a plus We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
