Premier Janitorial is Hiring a Cleaning Specialist Near Washington, DC

We are seeking to add Cleaning Specialists to our team! You will be responsible for providing building support services ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all occupants and protect facility assets. Along with the required physical skills of the job, your role will be to encourage a positive and healthy work environment amongst your team members, as well as occupants.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks
  • Perform proper dilution of concentrated chemicals
  • Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment
  • Manage cleaning supply inventory
  • Organize custodial closets and spaces
  • Posses strong communication skills and customer service
  • Follow all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • Ability to observe safety rules and regulations that meet state, federal, and local governing jurisdictions.
  • Possess strong work ethics
  • Ability to read, write, and converse in English in order to understand product label instructions, policies and procedures, as well as to effectively discuss custodial matters with supervisors and others.
  • Previous experience in cleaning and janitorial preferred
  • Ability to handle a physical workload
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Be able to easily lift and pull up to 50 lbs
  • Possess a high level of professionalism
  • Proper use and wear of PPE’s

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
