Assist in managing clinical operations of the nursing department;
Monitor nursing programs to ensure quality resident services are provided;
Assign workload, scheduling to ensure quality care to all residents;
Supervise and train nursing staff on their daily job duties;
Monitor nursing staff to ensure facility policies and procedures are followed appropriately;
Identify department issues and make recommendations for corrective action;
Monitor to ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available as needed;
Monitor care needs to resident satisfaction;
Perform nursing audits to ensure staff duties and performed accurately and timely;
Assist in recruiting and training of new staff;
Assist in regular scheduled meetings to discuss resident service updates, issues, and recommendations;
Monitor nursing programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
