Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting medical administrative tasks. Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent patient service by greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing billing and coding
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare patients for X-rays and other diagnostic tests
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment
- Educate patients on proper self-care techniques and provide instructions for medication use
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment
Skills:

- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation
- Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information
- Ability to perform basic clinical procedures such as taking vital signs and administering injections
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members
- Understanding of anatomy and physiology to assist with patient care
- Familiarity with medical coding systems for accurate billing purposes
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred But not required.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required
