Excellence in Healthcare is a concierge medical practice. Our Mission is for each Patient to be informed and accountable for all the aspects of their care and work with us on an individual plan to achieve optimal health. We are currently seeking a qualified medical assistant.

Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones and maintaining patient records
- Take patient medical history and vital signs
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Provide patient education and instructions for at-home care

-Collect/perform basic laboratory test

-Instruct patient about medication and special diet

-Take and record vital signs and medical history

-Assist with minor surgical procedures

-Sterilize medical equipment

-Submitting medical supply orders

-Stock exam rooms when necessary

-Print labs for doctor review

-Perform EKGs

Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant 1 year
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to perform basic medical procedures such as taking blood pressure, administering injections, and conducting EKGs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.31 - $19.28 per hour
