We are a private medical practice in search of an Experienced Medical Assistant to add to our team. The MA will be responsible for the following duties:

• Working with VIP patients to ensure they receive premium care while maintaining complete confidentiality via medical case management.
• Administer medications and document therapeutic effects.
• Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration).
• Assist with patient comfort follow-up.
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.
• Collect samples
• Provide wound care.
• Help coordinate patient care with staff as necessary.
• Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations.
• Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment.
• Analyze test data and the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options.
• Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity.
• Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information and counseling.
• Update and maintain all digital client records and assist in transitioning hard copy records to digital format.
• Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments.
• Answering phone calls and greeting patients.
• Assisting in making appointments and calling prescriptions into pharmacies.
• Gathering, processing, and maintaining patient medical records and reporting patient information for health standards.
• Ensure medical records are maintained in a manner compliant with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements of the medical services system.
• Preparing charts for the following clinic day as well.
• Send preventative health correspondence to patients.
• Coordinate and arrange testing for COVID-19 with patients
• Testing patients or staff for COVID-19 (training provided)
• Plus additional duties as requested by the Physician or Executive Operations Manager.

A NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST WILL BE REQUIRED PRIOR TO START. WEEKLY TESTING IS REQUIRED FOR ALL STAFF. WE PREFER FULLY VACCINATED AND BOOSTERED INDIVIDUALS.

Job Type: Full-time; 10:00am- 6:00pm (Plus overtime as needed)

WE NEED SOMEONE WHO CAN BE A TEAM PLAYER AND SELF STARTER! LEADERS PREFERRED.

The starting pay is $22/ hour with performance increases and occasional bonuses.
