Information Assurance Support Analyst

Premier Enterprise Solutions is looking for an Information Assurance Support Analyst with 7 years' experience. The scope of the Information Assurance work shall include all documentation related to Security Assessment & Accreditation activities including identifying security risks and recommending risk mitigation strategies, but is not limited to:

Duties and Responsibilities

Conducting a full SA&A for all new information systems or information systems undergoing significant changes to ensure adequate documentation. SA&A shall be conducted in accordance with USAID's ATO requirements. SA&A package deliverables include but not limited to:

• FIPS 199 System Categorization
• System of Records Notices (SORNs)
• Continuous Monitoring
• Privacy Threshold Assessment (PTA)
• Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA)
• SO designation letter
• ISSO designation letter
• 508 compliances
• Business Impact Assessment (BIA)
• Information System Contingency Plan (ISCP)
• Incident Response (IR) and Information System Contingency Plan (ISCP) Test Plan
• System Security Plan (SSP)

Required Qualification:

• Active DoD Secret clearance
• Candidate will possess at least seven (7) years of specialized IT experience with at least five (5) years in IT operations.
• Knowledge of information security principles, concepts, practices, systems software, database software, and immediate access storage technology to carry out activities relating to security certification and accreditation.
• Knowledge and skill in implementing FISMA, NIST, OMB guidelines, and other Federal regulations and guidance.
• Experience interpreting and implementing FISMA/NIST requirements focused on the operational implementation and documentation of those requirements.
• Skill and ability in executing Security Operations including incident detection, identification, management, response, and reporting.
• Must have experience in incident management.
• Skill in making recommendations that significantly influence OIG's information security policies or programs.
• Experience building policies and preparing briefings to explain security programs and requirements to senior executives.
• Skill and ability to provide expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical information technology security issues.
• Skill and ability to assess risk factors and advise on vulnerability to attack from a variety of sources and procedures for protection of systems and applications.
• Knowledge of security requirements for cloud-hosted environments and services and mobile application development and deployment
• Ability to ensure coordination and/or collaboration on security activities.
• Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with management and other technical Specialists.
• Ability to plan, organize and manage tasks on time with minimal supervision.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

• ITIL v4 Foundation certification is preferred.
• One or more of these certifications is preferred - CISSP, CEH, CAP, or CASP.
• Degree in Information Assurance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
