Premier Crossville is Hiring a Generator technician Near Crossville, TN

The Service Technician is a maintenance professional responsible for repairing Generator and other quality systems for various business and homes.

They're typically responsible for keeping equipment clean, fixed and maintained for customers Generators. Technicians work to locate any dangerous features on the Generator that could be harmful to the user's health.

They'll also regularly clean, adjust and repair these systems, along with any routine maintenance.

Many Service Technicians on duty are responsible for responding to emergency calls promptly and providing routine maintenance to help fix the Generator system quickly for customers.

They'll take note of each time they perform Generator maintenance and are responsible for logging it for the business' records.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Client Communication : Keep clients informed of any unforeseen delays and / or issues, maintaining a high level of transparency and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Installing new hardware and complex products while ensuring that they work correctly and safely.
  • Educating the hardware users about the correct use and upkeep of their products.
  • Repairing broken-down or damaged equipment either in the field or at a repair center.
  • Handling customer relations in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Explaining complex installation, diagnostic and repair issues in a way that's accessible to a nontechnical audience.

Requirements :

  • Team Player : Possess a strong team player mentality with a high level of dedication to the service team's success.
  • Core Job Experience : Proven experience in service is essential. Previous experience in industrial or HVAC service will be accepted.
  • Organization : Must be well-organized and responsible, ensuring that all service activities are carried out in an orderly and efficient manner.
  • Adaptability : Flexibility is key, as the role may require quick adjustments to plans and schedules based on changing circumstances.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills to address any challenges or issues that arise during the process and procedures.
  • Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with both the installation team and clients.
  • On Call Rotation : Team Member will be required to be on-call in the event that something breaks or requires immediate attention.

Environment :

  • Outdoor : The role is primarily based in an outdoor environment, with most of the time spent outside.
  • Walking and Standing : Majority of the time will be spent walking and / or standing for tasks that necessitate it.
  • Fast-Paced : The work environment is fast-paced with minimal downtime, making the ability to manage tasks efficiently crucial.

Customer Satisfaction : Accountable for achieving customer satisfaction goals through effective coordination and communication.

  • Proven experience in Customer Service or similar position.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Reliability and trustworthiness
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills to address challenges promptly.
  • A keen eye to detail to maintain accuracy in problem solving and paperwork, minimizing errors.
  • Competence in using software tools like Service Titan or any specific software relevant to the industry for report generation and data management.
