Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. In this role, you will support the Property Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining the overall integrity of the property.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Property Manager in managing all aspects of property operations
- Conduct property tours and show available units to prospective tenants
- Process rental applications and conduct background checks on potential tenants
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately
- Collect rent payments and handle tenant inquiries or concerns
- Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution
- Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related transactions
- Assist with budgeting and financial reporting
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in administrative or property management roles preferred
- Familiarity with contract management and lease agreements
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and guidelines
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively
- Understanding of facilities management principles
- Knowledge of real estate administrative processes
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) program is a plus
