Velocity Aerospace, Fort Lauderdale, FL location has an opening for an Accessories Technician. The role is responsible for the disassembly and cleaning of aircraft lavatories at an acceptable rate while providing the highest quality of workmanship for all work accomplished. Previous aviation experience is valued, but not required.

Essential Functions Include:

• Perform cleaning, drying and preparation of waste components
• Work with general hand tools
• Work with waste and wastewater while wearing acceptable Personal Protection Equipment
• Work well with a team and individually
• Work at an individual work bench for long periods of time
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area on a daily basis

Ideal Candidates will Offer:

• Knowledge regarding basic mechanical theory
• Ability to remain focused and pay close attention to detail
• Ability to retain information
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions
• Ability to work on small tedious parts
• No aircraft install work accomplished
• No A&P License required
